Sponsorship

Albion are proud to sponsor the following charities and clubs.

Signposted Cymru is a mental health charity founded by Darren Thomas.

It aims to provide essential support to individuals facing mental health challenges. Over the past three years, the charity has assisted more than 1,000 people, offering guidance, advocacy, and tailored services to meet the needs of its beneficiaries.

The organization strives to become self-sufficient by securing service level agreements with health boards, local authorities, and partnerships with schools, colleges, and businesses. Despite being a relatively new charity, Signposted Cymru is driven by integrity and dedication, working tirelessly to ensure compliance and effective service delivery

Born out of Darren’s personal experiences with mental health struggles, the charity embodies a mission to help others navigate similar challenges and access the support they need.

Merthyr Squash Club

Merthyr Squash Club has gained a reputation around the UK for being unique and revolutionary in their approach to attracting and retaining new players. The core of the club’s ethos is to add value to players' experience. This takes the form of looking after new players, both young and old. We realised from an early stage that just putting a racket into a new player’s hand and telling them to hit a ball against the wall was not good enough.

We support our new members with continued coaching sessions, bringing in great role models and making playing fun. Social events, APE awards and hit the target program, help to develop a friendly atmosphere. Our partners like ALBION are key players in this process and without their financial support we would not have been awarded Welsh Squash Club of the year for consecutive years and being one of the largest Junior sections in the UK. ALBION and our other partners are an essential part of this success story, and I would like to personally thank you for your support.

Raising Awareness, One Peak at a Time

Albion Workplace Solutions were proud to support our local mental health charity, Signposted Cymru, on their recent UK 3 Peaks Challenge — an inspiring initiative to raise awareness and vital funds for mental health issues across South Wales.

Our very own Managing Director, Damien Freili took part in the challenge over the early May Bank Holiday, scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just 24 hours.

Mental health is a cause close to our hearts, and we’re honoured to play a part in supporting organisations like Signposted Cymru who are making a real difference in people’s lives every day.

A huge well done to Damien and everyone who took part!
