South Wales commercial property sector had a strong 2014 and looks good for 2015 says leading South Wales property expert.

Most sectors in the commercial property market in South Wales rebounded strongly in 2014 and the improvement is set to continue, according to latest analysis from DTZ.

cardiff waterfrontRhys James, senior director and head of DTZ’s Cardiff office, said that while sentiment in the industrial sector was still cautious, there were “clear signs of improvement.”

Last week DTZ presented its 2015 Outlook seminar for the property market at the St David’s Hotel & Spa in Cardiff Bay. The audience was told that the Cardiff office market experienced an “exceptional” 82% rise in take-up last year in comparison to 2013.

Of the 542,000 sq ft let, some 49% was in the centre of Cardiff.
