Albion won the tender in the summer to replace the schools old external walkway, that they had issue with leaks and being too hot over the summer and freezing cold during the winter. Albion have installed with a new aluminium glazed walkway with a new Britmet roof.
Works included:
Demolition of old walkway
Installation of a new steel structure to create the new walkway and accept the new roof.
Installation of a new Britmet roof system complete with rainwater goods
Installation of new aluminium glazed windows including 3 new double doorways
Decoration to the external of the building and insternal with a feature grey wall
Installation of a new MF ceiling to internal walkway
New feature lighting
New LST radiators
New vinyl plank flooring with barrier matting to doorways
New Aco drainage to the schoolyard
The area is now a safe place for the pupils to walk and work.
