The apprenticeship is an 18 week programme at college over a 2 year apprenticeship (see attached framework delivery model), it lines up with this standard: Interior systems installer / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

Entry Requirements

Due to the nature of the Standards and the complexities of difficulty, as of January 2023 the National Construction College has changed its entry requirement rules. We require apprentices undertaking a Level 2 Apprenticeship to have achieved maths and English:

  • GCSE 3-9
  • GCSE D-A
  • Functional Skills L1 or L2.

An Initial Assessment will also take place prior to the start of the course to ensure the apprentice will be able to achieve the required qualifications. There are some exceptions to the rule, please see the attached English and Maths Entry Requirements Policy for more information.
